What’s New: Explore curated content with Mentemia Collections

Explore specially curated Collections by the Mentemia team and organise your favourites in the app.

We’ve released a new feature in Mentemia called Collections!

Collections let you create collections of your favourite content or save it for later. Using this feature helps personalise your experience by organising your favourite content and tools into handy groups based on your interests.  

What do Collections help with?

Before when you clicked the heart icon, it would save content to My List. A great feature, but if you ❤️’d a lot of content, it could be tricky to find what you were looking for later.

Creating Collections makes it quicker and easier to find your favourite content and tools.

How do Collections work?

There are hundreds of articles, videos, listen tracks, tools and more in Mentemia ⏤ and we release new content every day. That’s a lot to explore and enjoy!

Collections help you curate the content you love and easily find what you’re looking for. It’s a great feature for people that love being organised or are passionate about an area of mental wellbeing, like sleep, mindfulness, or fitness.

Love breathing exercises? Create a Collection for all the breathing articles and tools you use in Mentemia.

It’s easy! Just follow these steps.

  1. Use the heart icon ❤️to save content and tools to a collection, like Breathing or Fitness

  2. Click “Start your Collection

  3. Choose a name and short description. Once done click “Create new Collection

  4. Voila! You created a Collection. Add more content and tools by clicking the heart icon ❤️

  5. Create as many collections as you wish!

Discover new specially curated Mentemia Collections

Not only can you now create your own personal collections of content in Mentemia but we’ve also put together a range of new content collections that we think you’ll love.

From the many ways to discover mindfulness to mood boosters, expert videos, collectable cards and more. Our collections bring together information and advice on your favourite topics in one handy place for you to explore and come back to again and again.

Where do I start?

Under Explore in the Mentemia app you’ll find a new tab called Collections. Here you can scroll through the different topics and see what’s on offer. We’ll continue adding to the Collections over time so you can keep returning to discover what’s new.

  • Covid-19 Official Advice for New Zealand and Australia Collections. Guidelines and information from the New Zealand Government and Australian Government.

  • Your Covid-19 Support Collection for New Zealand and Australia. Ideas and advice to help you navigate life during the pandemic in New Zealand and Australia.

  • The Definition Card Collection. Learn about the brain, emotions, and psychology with our collectable series of cards.

  • Personal Wellbeing Journeys, New Zealand and Australia Collections. Friends of Mentemia in New Zealand and Australia share messages of support and their strategies for wellbeing.

  • The Expert Advice Collection. Mentemia’s team of experts talk to JK about nutrition, exercise and mindfulness.

  • JK’s Wellbeing Journey. Mentemia’s Sir John Kirwan shares his tips and techniques for mental wellbeing.

  • Your Mood Booster Collection. Inspiring ideas for lifting your spirits.
